His punishment and "treatment" will most likely be administered by the court itself as they will most likey mandate him to AA meeetings and possibly some classes.
The interem head coach is a person that has been a head coach before at Youngstwon State and at Walsh college and St Joseph's (Ind). Had a winning record as well (237-140) so the Bearcats are in capable hands until Huggins returns.

If Huggs had caused a wreck and injured someone, fine. But he didn't and I say he derserves a second chance. And sorry, Gae, you know I think you're beautiful but I must disagree with you here, even if this is the fist time he got caught, it is his first DUI.
And I think Jumper's bias betrays him here; I'm not sure he'd be posting like he has if Huggs had led UC to a title in the past few years.
My opinion goes a bit deeper. The guy is lucky to be alive. Not everyone gets the opportunity Bob Huggins had - to survive a massive heart attack and live to see another day.
Not everyone squanders that opportunity, and it pisses me off to see someone in his position, with his circumstances acting the way he does.
I honestly think firing Bob Huggins would be the best thing for Bob Huggins.

He's done a lot for UC and for the community and should be allowed to coach again.

I don't see how this suspension is going to work. It would seem any meaningful rehab of Mr. Huggins is going to take considerable time.
Not exactly good timing, one year before heading into the Big East.
Another reason why Huggins just really, really, really, really pisses me off.

Rumor has it, the new President of UC does not like Huggins. She doesn't like the influence he has at UC and the reputation that UC players have.
Personally, I think he is good at getting talent and teaching the players. As a game coach I think he sucks.
If it is true, he was with a recruit or working in the capacity of a "coach", he should be fired.
If he was just out having a good time, on his own time, then I woudl cut him some slack.
